Our Creative Kids Sewing Workshop at The Sewing Society Design Studio is designed for young creatives who want to

learn how to sew in a fun, safe, and supportive studio environment. This workshop introduces children to practical sewing skills through

a variety of useful, hands-on projects. Students will learn how to use a sewing machine confidently, understand basic construction, and 

complete items they can proudly take home and use.

No previous sewing experience is required.

Each project is carefully selected to teach a new sewing technique while helping students build confidence step by step.

What They’ll Learn

Throughout the course, students will be guided through the basics of sewing, including:

• Sewing machine setup and threading

• Safe use of sewing tools and equipment

• Sewing straight lines, corners, and seams

• Measuring, cutting, and preparing fabric

• Understanding basic construction

• Creating neat edges and finishes

• Zip insertion for pouches

• Simple bag construction

• Working with different fabric shapes and project styles

• Building confidence through practice and repetition
