What You’ll Create?

You will complete:

A fully lined tote bag featuring a secure zipper closure and functional internal pocket 

thoughtfully constructed with professional finishing techniques and clean structure.

This hands-on workshop focuses on precision, sequencing, and confident assembly while

creating a practical, everyday accessory.

Day 1 – Preparation & Foundation

Focus: Precision & Structure

• Fabric preparation and accurate cutting

 • Understanding interfacing and structure

 • Applying interfacing correctly

 • Constructing and attaching the internal pocket

 • Preparing outer and lining panels

By the end of Day 1, your bag components will be prepared and structured correctly.

Day 2 – Zipper & Assembly

Focus: Technique & Accuracy

• Zipper insertion methods

 • Achieving clean, secure zip finishes

 • Assembling outer and lining sections

 • Maintaining seam consistency

 • Turning and shaping techniques

By the end of Day 2, your bag will be fully assembled with zip securely installed.

Day 3 – Finishing & Professional Details

Focus: Structure & Final Construction

• Attaching handles securely

 • Closing lining neatly

 • Final seam reinforcement

 • Topstitching for durability and finish

 • Pressing and shaping for a professional result

By the end of Day 3, you will complete a fully finished lined tote bag with zip and pocket

constructed with confidence and precision.
