Kids Summer Craft Camp

Summer is the perfect time for children to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and enjoy

hands-on activities in a fun and welcoming environment. At The Sewing Society, our Kids Summer Craft Camp

is designed for young makers who love to create, sew, craft, and try something new. Over the summer holidays,

children will take part in a variety of creative projects including sewing, crochet, fabric craft, hand stitching, and

fun handmade activities. Each session is designed to help children build confidence, improve focus, develop practical

skills, and experience the joy of saying, “I made this myself!”

What They’ll Do

During the camp, children will enjoy a mix of creative activities such as:

• Sewing projects
• Crochet basics
• Fabric craft
• Hand-sewing activities
• Embroidery-inspired projects
• Creative textile art
• Fun take-home handmade items

Projects may vary depending on the child’s age, ability, and class level.

Age Groups & Levels

Our summer camp is suitable for different ages and skill levels.

Ages 6–8

For younger children, the focus will be on safe, age-appropriate creative work such as:

• Hand sewing
• Simple embroidery
• Fabric craft
• Decorative textile projects
• Creative confidence-building activities

Ages 9+

Older children will be introduced to more structured projects, including:

• Sewing machine basics
• Beginner-friendly sewing projects
• Crochet
• Fabric craft
• Practical handmade items

Children do not need previous experience to join. Complete beginners are welcome, and children with some sewing or crochet 

experience will be guided according to their level.

The camp fee includes:

What Should They Bring?

Children should bring:

• A water bottle
• A small snack, if required
• Comfortable clothing
• Lots of creativity and excitement

All materials for the planned projects will be provided by The Sewing Society.

Dates: 6th July – 26th August

Schedule: 3 days a week

Activities: Sewing, crochet, fabric craft, and creative textile projects

Location: The Sewing Society Design Studio, Dubai Investment Park, Mayfair Business Center, DIP 1
